The 12th International Conference on Text, Speech and Dialogue (TSD 2009) was concerned with the topics in the field of natural language processing, in particular on corpora, texts and transcription, speech analysis, recognition and synthesis, and their intertwining within natural language dialogue systems.
In this work we deal with the interpretation methods of speech utterances. We describe a clasic approach to perform interpretation. After that we suggest an alternative method based on modern knowledge in artificial inteligence
The segmentation process is an important part of EEG signal processing. The aim of segmentation is to separate quasi stationary parts of the recorded EEG signals to the segments, in which the particular properties are stationary. Afterwards these properties can be consecutively analyzed and classified to suitable classes.
