	note    = {The 2nd INCF Congress of Neuroinformatics was organized in collaboration with the Czech National Node and the University of West Bohemia, Pilsen.  It was a 2.5 days single-track meeting featuring 6 keynote lectures, 5 workshops with 3 speakers and a panel discussion each, and an extensive poster & demo session. Workshops include the following topics: Advances in the automatic analysis of multi-dimensional data, Ontologies for neuroscience: applications and advances, How should a neuron be modeled: Biophysical detail vs. abstraction, High performance computing and grid infrastructure for neuroinformatics applications, and The neuroinformatics of neural connectivity. All speaker, poster and demo abstracts are published online by Frontiers in Neuroscience. Three student courses and two satellite meetings were organized before or after the main congress.}}
